Open Source Notice & Licenses

1. Overview

The LevoRustDesk service is built, in part, on open source components. This document details the significant open source components used, their licenses, and resulting obligations.

2. RustDesk Component — AGPL-3.0

AGPL-3.0 — GNU Affero General Public License v3.0

RustDesk is an open source project licensed under AGPL-3.0. This license requires:

  • License preservation: Any distribution of RustDesk or modifications must include the original license
  • Source code disclosure: If providing network access to a service based on RustDesk, the source code must be made available
  • Copyright preservation: Original copyright notices must be retained

Our Use of RustDesk

LevoRustDesk uses the following RustDesk components:

3. AGPL Compliance

Note: This section is in draft and pending legal opinion.
  • RustDesk components are run unmodified on self-hosted infrastructure
  • The Portal, Agent, and Mobile App are independent code developed from scratch and are not derivative works
  • RustDesk source code is available from the original project website
  • All RustDesk copyright notices are preserved
